Missouri Good Neighbor Week to Open and Close with Inspiring Films at Moxie Cinema

Springfield residents will have two unique opportunities to experience the power of neighboring on the big screen during Missouri Good Neighbor Week (Sept. 28–Oct. 4, 2025). Both events are free screenings at Moxie Cinema, followed by an engaging discussion. But seating is limited to just 75 tickets per show, so early registration is encouraged.

Closing Film — “A Man Called Otto”

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 5, 2:30 p.m.
  • Where: Moxie Cinema, 305 S Campbell Ave., Springfield
  • This heartwarming adaptation of Fredrik Backman’s beloved novel reminds us how small acts of kindness can transform neighborhoods and lives.

Kick-Off Film — “Leap of Faith”

  • When: Sunday, Sept. 28, 2:30 p.m.
  • Where: Moxie Cinema, 305 S Campbell Ave., Springfield
  • This moving documentary with pastors highlights themes of trust, community, and human connection. Attendees will be inspired to reflect on their own role as neighbors.
