Community creativity is on full display in Turners Station Mercantile thanks to the Mighty Eagles 4-H Club’s participation in University of Missouri Extension's Show Me Neighborhood Art Month. Registered by Emma Alexander, the installation was completed on May 31, 2026, at Turners Station Mercantile, located at 6484 E. Farm Road 148 in Turners, Missouri. Titled “2026 Clover Patch: 4-H Projects,” the artwork celebrates the talents, hard work, and community spirit of local 4-H members. The project features colorful chalk art showcasing the event logo alongside hand-painted rocks created by club members. Together, these artistic elements create a vibrant display that highlights both individual creativity and the shared values of 4-H: learning, leadership, service, and community involvement.   The Webster County Farm Bureau Board lead a collaborative food security project in partnership with Greene County 4-H Teen Council, Glendale FFA, Mighty Eagles 4-H Club, Seymour FFA, and Niangua FFA on Monday, February 16, at the Seymour High School. 50 youth and adults stood elbow to elbow to pack over 11,000 meals that are being distributed to local food pantries and food security projects. This event trained students to recognize local needs and emboldened them to participate in collaborative neighborhood leadership. Participants wrapped up this 2nd annual event as they enjoyed lunch together, cooked by Missouri Farm Bureau leadership. During Missouri Good Neighbor Week, the small communities of Lamar, Liberal, and Golden City showed just how powerful small acts of kindness can be. Through a partnership between Lamar Community Betterment and Barton County 4-H , residents of all ages came together to collect hundreds of pairs of socks and underwear for local students—turning what began as a simple idea into a heartfelt community movement.
